Human Library at Singapore with 12 Inspiring Thought Leaders

Yoga Secrets for Business by Padideh Fazelzadeh

Padideh Fazelzadeh, a qualified Art of living teacher and a naturopath by profession conducted a simple yet powerful session on Yoga Secrets for Business. This event promoted healthy living amongst the business community. Allowing the students and other attendees to realize that Yoga can be easily included into our routine to combat stress, depression, mental illness and promote healthy living. This session also included skills that we can use to deal with challenges we face in our day to day business lives - Aditya Sood, BBA15

Principals Re-Imagine Education – International Principals’ Conference at SP Jain Dubai

On 23rd and 24th June, SP Jain Dubai hosted the first international principals’ get-together under the theme Re-Imagining Education in Disruptive Times. The Indian International Teachers’ Association (IITA), UAE school principals and educators from SP Jain came together to discuss teaching and learning in today’s world and how the education system needs to evolve. “With the rampant disruption of technologies in every sphere, re-imagining education becomes crucial,” said Nitish Jain (president - SP Jain) on the purpose of this function. He added that “conferences which create meaningful conversations like these can radically change the future of education, preparing students with the right skills and competencies to thrive in a technologically complex world.”

It’s a Dress Down Denim Party – EMBA Networking Night, Singapore

On 22 June, over a hundred SP Jain Executive MBA Alumni and current students came together for the annual EMBA Networking Night at our Singapore campus. Keeping the theme of “Denim” in mind, everyone was in a casual, chilled out mood.

Getting Insights into Expo 2020 – Global Learning Session with Sanjive Khosla, VP of EXPO 2020

Expo 2020 has been a popular buzzword for a while now. How big is it? Is it really a bigger event than the Oscars when it came to the business world? What is the Expo all about and how is it conducted? These were some of the many questions that boggled the minds of the GMBA and MGB students before SP Jain Dubai’s Global Learning Industry Voices invited Mr. Sajive Kholsa, Vice President of Dubai Expo 2020 to address the PG cohorts, highlight the historical significance of the Global Expos, and answer all their questions.

Conducting the session on 13th June 2018, Mr. Khosla walked the students through how Dubai and the UAE bid for the Expo and the challenges they overcame to bid through the relevant and futuristic theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future” which focused on opportunity, mobility & sustainability. He also showed the students a concept video which explained the magnificent structure and layout of the Expo 2020 site, showcasing the ingenuity, creativity and strategy employed with the Expo 2020.

Hon. Dr. Eugene Mutimura - Rwanda’s Minister of Education Visits SP Jain Dubai

On 7th June 2018, our Dubai campus hosted Hon. Dr. Eugene Mutimura - Minister of Education of the Republic of Rwanda. Respected guests Dalila Yasmin Amri Sued (Chargee d’affaires of the General Consulate of Republic of Rwanda in Dubai) and Michelle Ntukanyagwe (Director of Policy, Research and Planning, Higher Education Council, Republic of Rwanda) were also part of the SP Jain visit.

Recognising Excellence – SP Jain Awards 100% Scholarship to Raina Shah, UAE Class 12 Topper

On 2nd June 2018, SP Jain’s Dubai campus held the UAE Top Achievers Awards 2018 in collaboration with The Young Vision to honor the 1st CBSE topper across the UAE, Raina Lalit Shah, and other top achievers. “It was a pleasure to attend this program, and I would like to sincerely thank SP Jain for honoring me!” said Raina who graduated from The Indian High School Dubai with an outstanding score of 97.4% and received a 100% full scholarship from SP Jain in addition to the 1st topper trophy and certificate of recognition.
