SP JAIN'S EVENTS

On 24^th January 2018, the Global Learning team brought the BBA students to the famous Esplanade in Singapore. The Esplanade is one of the busiest art-centres in the world with more than 3,000 performances yearly. The students learnt about the Esplanade's unique architectural qualities, the development of the arts in Singapore and other insightful information.

On 21st January 2018, the students at our Dubai campus attended a global learning session with Diego Cerrone (Senior Insight and Strategy Director - BPN Worldwide). The session helped attendees understand the Italian, Chinese and the UAE consumer market behaviours and the importance of mobile communication strategy.

On 19th January 2017, Josh Jackson, SP Jain’s BBA Alumnus, visited the Sydney campus to talk to the current students. Originally from London, England, Josh majored in Finance with a minor in Marketing. After graduation, he took a job at a small, local fund accounting company before moving to the financial services audit department of Deloitte.

On 18th January 2018, SP Jain School of Global Management hosted the Global Learning Industry Voices Series on its Dubai Campus. The session was held specially for the global business students, who were addressed by Ms. Pooja Singh, International Relations Specialist and Ali Abdulla Al Abdouli, Awareness & Education Section Head from Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA). The students were keen to understand the key function and overview of the financial market and regulatory body in the region.

Lee Germon, a former NZ Cricket Captain and current General Manager with the BBL team Sydney Thunder, visited the Sydney campus on 16th January. Lee has played 12 tests and about 30 One Day Internationals, having also played 100 first class cricket matches.

Our Singapore campus recently welcomed 40 new students from 13 different countries as a part of the BBA Cohort. Staying true to the theme of “The world is your classroom”, the Singapore campus currently hosts above 220 students from over 30 nationalities.
