Coffee & Conversation with Dr Raja Roy Choudhury (Luxury Brand Management Liann)

Tata Teleservices Limited had invited Dr Raja Roy Choudhury, Director Professional Programs(Digital Marketing & Retail Management) to deliver a lecture on Disruptive Innovation using digitalization to propel New Age Marketing at their Navi Mumbai Campus. The session was attended by 45  managers and business partners from the company side. The Heads of Sales, Service, HR & MarComm were also present.

 Dr Roy Choudhury deliberated  the importance of digital technology and related tools which equip the new age marketing professional to converge technology and marketing roles and become a Marketing Technologist. he further deliberated on the concepts of programmatic marketing, performance marketing, the shift from major screen to minor screen and the use of videos for effective story telling through youtubes.

 

He further added that mobile telephony market leaders like Tata teleservices are challenged with the balance they need to maintain between churning through portability and acquisition of newer clients to ensure market leadership. Digital Marketing and specially use of social media marketing coupled with sentiment analysis and web analytics will help them adopt a right now right here approach. Mr. Vishal Rally, the Head from the Tata Teleservices Group gave a vote of thanks and evinced interest in forging a tie up on Action Research and custom programs in the field of Digital Marketing for their mid level managers. Mr. Sujeet Naik, their Sales Head further added that they would be happy to have our students as interns working on live projects.
