SP JAIN'S EVENTS

On 18th January 2018, SP Jain School of Global Management hosted the Global Learning Industry Voices Series on its Dubai Campus. The session was held specially for the global business students, who were addressed by Ms. Pooja Singh, International Relations Specialist and Ali Abdulla Al Abdouli, Awareness & Education Section Head from Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA). The students were keen to understand the key function and overview of the financial market and regulatory body in the region.

Lee Germon, a former NZ Cricket Captain and current General Manager with the BBL team Sydney Thunder, visited the Sydney campus on 16th January. Lee has played 12 tests and about 30 One Day Internationals, having also played 100 first class cricket matches.

Our Singapore campus recently welcomed 40 new students from 13 different countries as a part of the BBA Cohort. Staying true to the theme of “The world is your classroom”, the Singapore campus currently hosts above 220 students from over 30 nationalities.

The SP Jain Toastmasters Club held its 20^th meeting on 13 January 2018 – the first meet of 2018. With the theme ‘Every Little Thing’, the session was highly inspiring and spoke about the value of precious moments in life that are often ignored in the pursuit of material pleasures.

On 29 December 2017, SP Jain Global’s Singapore campus signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Maharashtra Mandal Singapore (MMS). MMS is a non-profit social organisation made up of both local and foreign Maharashtrian Indian diaspora.

On December 19, our students at the Sydney Campus volunteered to help the Sydney Thunder Foundation. The students then got a chance to watch the first night of the Big Bash Cricket in Australia.

On 16 December 2018, SP Jain’s Alumni Community came together in Dubai to celebrate the prestigious Forbes Rankings. With numerous performances and joyful reunions, the event was truly spectacular. The alumni had a great time meeting old classmates, renewing friendships, catching up with the alma mater, and sharing memories.
