Prof Christopher Abraham speaks on Design Thinking and Food Innovation at the Middle East Food Forum 2019
In his address, Prof Abraham highlighted that the future of food has changed in three ways: how we eat, how we shop and how we engage. Design thinking is a human-centred approach to innovative problem-solving. It helps us to get a deep understanding of customers’ unmet needs and wants. It encourages creative consideration of a wide array of innovative solutions. It is as much a mindset as a process.
The event also saw many other experts, peers and vendors from the food service and hospitality industry sharing insights on ‘what to do’ and ‘what not to do’ in order to stay competitive in the business so as to inspire people on both success and failure stories and introduce innovative practices to their business with a reinvigorated entrepreneurial spirit.
