SP Jain School of Global Management invited Vinod Chandramouli, Head of Business, Asia and South East Asian Nations at Freshworks, to conduct a guest session on July 5, 2021, as part of the “Global Learning – Visiting Wisdom Series” for tomorrow’s global leaders, our Master of Global Business (MGB) cohort.

SP Jain School of Global Management was honoured to host Her Excellency Margriet Vonno, Ambassador of Netherlands to Singapore and Brunei, for a Guest Lecture as part of the Visiting Wisdom series at its Singapore campus on 14th February 2019.

SP Jain School of Global Management had the honour of welcoming Mr. Sandeep Khanna, People & Organisational Development (OD) Lead of Grab (Singapore), for its Visiting Wisdom – Industry Insights guest lecture on 29th November 2018 at the Singapore campus. Grab is a Singapore-based company that offers ride-hailing, ride-sharing, food delivery service and logistics services through its app, which operates in Singapore and neighbouring Southeast Asian nations including Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, and Cambodia.

As part of the ‘Global Thought Connect’ initiative for the month of October 2018, SP Jain School of Global Management conducted a guest session with Dr Hrant Davtyan, AI & Data Science Strategist from the American University of Armenia (AUA), at its Dubai campus where he spoke about the pitfalls of data-driven decision-making.

SP Jain School of Global Management was honoured to invite Mr. Abhilash Misra, CEO of National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India Academy, to speak to our postgraduate students of the Master of Global Business (MGB) program (Sep’18 intake) on 8th October 2018 at its Dubai campus as part of the Global Learning Industry Voices Program.

Expo 2020 has been a popular buzzword for a while now. How big is it? Is it really a bigger event than the Oscars when it came to the business world? What is the Expo all about and how is it conducted? These were some of the many questions that boggled the minds of the GMBA and MGB students before SP Jain Dubai’s Global Learning Industry Voices invited Mr. Sajive Kholsa, Vice President of Dubai Expo 2020 to address the PG cohorts, highlight the historical significance of the Global Expos, and answer all their questions.

Conducting the session on 13^th June 2018, Mr. Khosla walked the students through how Dubai and the UAE bid for the Expo and the challenges they overcame to bid through the relevant and futuristic theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future” which focused on opportunity, mobility & sustainability. He also showed the students a concept video which explained the magnificent structure and layout of the Expo 2020 site, showcasing the ingenuity, creativity and strategy employed with the Expo 2020.

On 7th June 2018, our Dubai campus hosted Hon. Dr. Eugene Mutimura - Minister of Education of the Republic of Rwanda. Respected guests Dalila Yasmin Amri Sued (Chargee d’affaires of the General Consulate of Republic of Rwanda in Dubai) and Michelle Ntukanyagwe (Director of Policy, Research and Planning, Higher Education Council, Republic of Rwanda) were also part of the SP Jain visit.

On 24^th May 2018, Postgraduate students specialising in Global Finance interacted with Mr. Yogesh Kale - Head of Corporate banking of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) to discuss an overview of the Banking sector in the UAE, Islamic Banking, Risk Management and career scope in this region among other topics. The session was conducted as part of Global Learning at the SP Jain Dubai campus.
