On April 27, 2024, the Executive MBA (EMBA) Program event hosted another enriching ECAP session featuring a Corporate Masterclass. The topic of the session, "Personal Finance Management for Working Professionals," was expertly delivered by Mr Satyajit Singh, Head of Fixed Income Strategy at Emirates NBD within the CIO Office.

Drawing from his extensive 15 years of experience in the investment realm, and from previously serving as a Portfolio Manager in the HNW Segment at ADCB, to contributing significantly to Deutsche Bank's Institutional Clients’ Group Credit Desk, and  as a Senior Analyst in the Corporate Sector credit ratings desk at ICRA Ltd, Mr Singh is a seasoned professional in the financial domain.

A highlight from his session was his recommendation that individuals strive to cultivate at least three sources of income by their early thirties. This strategic approach not only facilitates early investment but also enables diversification, a cornerstone principle in sound financial management.

The event was attended by a diverse cohort of 43 EMBA students from the Dubai On-campus and ME OL Batches, some of whom travelled specifically to the Dubai Campus to participate.

The masterclass was skilfully moderated by EMBA student Mr Gagandeep Sawhney, from Batch 51, who ensured the seamless flow of the event and engagement throughout the session.

Dean Gary and Dr TP expressed gratitude to Mr. Satyajit Singh for his invaluable contribution. Moreover, Dr Gary shared some key takeaways from the session, talking about his own personal wealth-building strategy.

The EMBA Program continues to uphold its commitment to equipping professionals with cutting-edge knowledge and skills, fostering a community of lifelong learners in today's dynamic business landscape.
