BBA students Saras Sachdev and Divya Shishodia recently won Checkmate 2.0, a show by Colors TV, to find the “Smartest Young Executive in the Middle East”. While Saras won the contest and an internship with RAK Bank, Divya was a runner up winning an internship with Bayut.
The contest saw four participants from SP Jain - Saras Sachdev, Divya Shishodia, Rohan Bhatia, and Tanushree Kumar - who were shortlisted from among over 500 candidates and competed for the title, “Smartest Young Executive in the Middle East”, winning exciting summer internships.
The second season of, ‘Checkmate – Hunt for the smartest young executive in the Middle East’, an Apprentice cum Dragons’ Den-style reality show had 16 contestants, over 14 episodes, face off against each other across relevant tasks and challenges. Students were tested on their global intelligence, business acumen, teamwork, attitude, and confidence. The show was in English, aired on Colors TV (Viacom 18).
