“Domestic and cross-border returns to bidders in acquisitions into the E.U” by Dr. Nawazish Mirza

Dr Nawazish Mirza has published an article in Economic Research, Volume 30 (1), 2017 titled “Domestic and cross-border returns to bidders in acquisitions into the E.U”. Economic Research (Taylor & Francis Publication) is a peer reviewed journal with a JCR Impact Factor of 0.46 (Clarivative Analytics). The article analyses cross border mergers and acquisitions of United Kingdom’s banking sector between 2006 – 2013 and reports negative synergies for regulatory driven M&A activities.

Congratulations to Dr Rajiv Aserkar (Professor and Area Head – Logistics & Supply Chain, S P Jain School of Global Management) who presented his paper titled “Making Sourcing Decisions Through Total Landed Cost Exercise” in The International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association (IPSERA) Conference in Budapest, Hungary. The paper received appreciations from fellow educators from the top universities and leading industries from across the world. Jaguars titled MENA CFA Research Challenge Winners, 2017

Second year BBA students, Aadit Mohnot, Ganeshram Rajagopalan, Lavena Bhansali, Sai Kartheek and Kunal Dugar won the enviable MENA CFA Society Emirates Winner title, as they represented UAE to compete among other MENA countries like Bahrain, Egypt and Jordan at the CFA Institute Research Challenge on 7th April 2017.

SP Jain wins the top two positions at UAE's 2017 CFA Institute research challenge

S P Jain’s MGB students from May 2016 batch pursuing their final term in Dubai recently won the 2nd place at the prestigious UAE Global Management Challenge, 2017. Calling themselves FutLeads (read as Future Leaders), the team consisted of Ashish Khinvasara, Charu Sancheti, Ganesh Prasad Nagarajan, Navaneeth Madhusudanan & Piyush Jejani.
