On January 21, 2024, the EMBA ECAP Alumni Interaction Event convened virtually under the theme "The 5 Most Important Decisions I have made in my Professional Career.” The event attracted a gathering of over 115 students from EMBA Global and SG batches.

The event was graced by distinguished alumni, among them Mr Lavan Verma (from GEMBA B 06), leading the charge in FP&A and Data Intelligence across the Asia Pacific & Middle East regions for Manpower Group; Mr Rajan Pandey (from GEMBA B 09), the Vice President at JP Morgan Singapore; and Mr Ritesh Gupta (from EMBA Mum 09), as General Manager & Sales Head at Medmix, India. With their wealth of experience, each panellist shared invaluable insights into their unique professional journeys.

The event not only provided a platform for alumni to share their experiences but also offered students a unique opportunity to network and connect with industry leaders. Moderating the panel discussion was Mr Arjun Dang, an EMBA student from GEMBA B18.

A student commented, “The open and candid discussion by the Alumni was helpful in understanding that nobody is too old to do an MBA or study further- To grow in global companies may be helped by having an academic background from a global university”.

Another student mentioned that he learnt that “Do not try to copy or mimic others. Try to draw inspiration and adapt to your life. The main aim should be to become a solid influencer in the company”.

Reflecting on the event, attendees departed with a sense of gratitude for the invaluable lessons learned and connections made.
