Well known in the social media sphere as the ‘Marketing Dude’, Mr. Anthony Permal has worked with marketing & branding companies like Siemens, IQPC Middle East, and Standard Charted Bank.
Furthermore, Mr. Anthony Permal spoke about relevance, user behavior and psychology. A clear idea and the difference between Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) was discussed upon. The lecture also explored the importance of the AIDA model (Awareness, Interest, Desire and Action) and Mr Permal explained the modification of this model in today’s world where organisations are concerned more about the loyalty of the consumers. The New Marketing Model has Awareness, Interest, Desire, Action and Loyalty. He said, ‘It’s all about how you use each tool in marketing. The entire journey has to be looked and traced upon. It’s all about listening, always be nice and listen and then talk about your views later.”
