Business and employability skills taught in BBA– Dr Vaidyanathan Jayaraman writes in K12 Digest

 
 

Dr Vaidyanathan Jayaraman (Dean – Undergraduate Programs, SP Jain School of Global Management) writes an article in K12 Digest, an educational website, about how companies today are paying a lot more attention to graduates who possess the soft critical skills that are essential for effective performance and success.

Elaborating further, he said, “Some of the top employability skills that any student should possess to get them ready for the real world, include communication (verbal and writing), teamwork, logical reasoning, critical thinking and problem-solving.”

In the article, Dean Jayaraman mentions that organisations value soft skills because they are important indicators of how you interact with other team members and the most important stakeholders - the customers.
