Gaurav Biswas, an SP Jain alumnus (Class of 2010) and (Founder & CEO of Trukker) has made offers to outgoing MBA students from SP Jain’s Class of 2021.
Students were hired for roles such as product owner, product manager, analysts, and other development roles and are expected to be stationed in Bangalore, India. These students will go through a rigorous training programme and have the opportunity to gain experience across TruKKer markets.
TruKKer is the first technology-enabled truck aggregator and largest digital land freight network in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region. It serves 500+ businesses and thousands of retail clients for their cargo movement requirements. Over the past years, TruKKer has disrupted MENA’s land freight sector through the use of technology. TruKKer ventured into the Indian market space in 2021, and the TruKKer Engineering Centre in Bangalore propels the company’s innovation and stimulates new opportunities across the supply value chain.
Commenting on this, Biswas shared, “I have always wanted to give back to my alma mater and hiring my juniors seemed the best way to do it. I decided to collaborate with SP Jain Global to organise an on-campus recruitment drive as a part of a larger recruitment plan undertaken by TruKKer that focuses on expanding the company’s intellectual capital and diversifying its workforce.”
“Seeing alumni return to school and give back in this way is immensely gratifying. Students undertake projects with top companies, interact with business leaders and thinkers, go on cultural tours and develop important global skills. These skills have led to better jobs, salaries, and better graduate outcomes,” said Dr Balakrishna Grandhi (Professor of Marketing & Strategy and Dean of Global MBA & Master of Global Business at SP Jain School of Global Management). <br
“Our goal is to create relevant leaders for the world’s top companies. Having studied in three countries – Singapore, Dubai and Sydney – our students graduate with a unique competitive advantage. They understand how to operate in a global business environment – a skill recruiters much value. They undertake projects with top companies, interact with business leaders and thinkers, go on cultural tours and develop important global skills. These skills have led to better jobs, salaries, and better graduate outcomes,” added Dr Grandhi.
