Launching S P Jain’s new blog series this week Hall of Fame, we get in touch with our senior alumni to seek stories about their successes. We speak to them about their learning experiences during their time at S P Jain and how their career has progressed over the years. Kick-starting the series with an interaction with our alumnus Dr. Atul Sharma, our first feature in this series he shares his personal story and how his career has progressed in the years after his MBA.

“S P Jain gave me a platform to kick start my corporate career in Sales and Business development leveraging my healthcare background”, shares Dr. Sharma, who is now a Sales Director-Healthcare with leading tech company, Cognizant Technology Solutions. He is presently managing one of Cognizant’s top 3 Strategic Payer accounts for the Healthcare vertical with a P&L responsibility of USD 100+ Million. Based out in Hartford, CT, United States, Dr. Atul Sharma is a much valued member of the firm, receiving continued awards and recognitions for his valuable contributions.

Completing his GMBA specialisation in Service Marketing in 2007, Dr. Sharma continues to acknowledge his MBA education that supported his career advancements. “The skills and thought leadership gained during GMBA was instrumental in being successful in my first stint with HCL Technologies and brought a paradigm shift in my career.”
